Elissa’s love affair with real estate began when she was a literature student at UCLA and living in Westwood. The surrounding homes of Bel Air intrigued her and awakened her interest in interior design. After graduating with a B.A. in English, she returned to UCLA to study interior design and architecture.
Upon finishing school Elissa traveled the world and lived abroad; first, in Guadalajara and Oaxaca, Mexico, teaching English at a private school, then in Florence, Italy. Elissa speaks Spanish, Italian and has a basic proficiency of French. Languages are one of her passions and she was a public school teacher in Ventura County for several years.
Elissa took her real estate exam in 1996 and was named “rookie of the year” her first year. She went on to become a consecutive top producer and obtained her broker’s license in 2005. Additionally, she completed specialized training to become a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.
Elissa has 30 years of experience and has done every type of real estate transaction possible; single family homes, ranches and land, condominiums, mobile homes, leases, income property and commercial sales. She has lived and sold real estate in Ventura County as well as Santa Barbara and Los Angeles counties. She is always willing to assist her clients with any of their real estate needs in California.
In her free time, Elissa enjoys spending time with her thirteen year old son, Enzo and her English Cream Golden Retriever, Cosmo. In addition to the titles of baseball mom and dog mom, she is an endurance athlete having finished Ironman races and ultramarathons. She is also a book enthusiast.
Elissa’s unique background and experiences give her an invaluable skill set which she brings to her clients from the coast to the mountains in Ventura County, Santa Barbara County and Conejo Valley.
